Our Tennis Club

Here at Kent County Cricket Club in Beckenham, off Worsley Bridge Road BR3 1DR, Blue Tennis are able to offer three hard courts all having flood lights for the winter nights. The multi-sport court is perfect for tennis, football, basketball/netball and provides more space for our holiday camps and our mini tennis program. In addition, we have access to a fantastic newly built building which has a vast indoor area which can provide junior tennis lessons and entertain the kids on rainy days, if available.
Fully equipped with changing rooms, toilets, kitchen and a TV to watch any major tournaments.
There is a car park on site as well as good viewing facilities for parents who wish to stay and watch their children enjoy the lessons.

Registered by the LTA as a Licensed Venue.
All coaches are licensed with the LTA and carry DBS, Safeguarding and First Aid Certification

Head Tennis Coach

Martin Curzey has played tennis since the age of 6. He has played for Kent, South East of England, National Championships and represented England. Also played competitive tennis overseas. He has coached for many years all ages and abilities.
He is a Level 3 LTA Licensed Tennis Coach and has sponsorship from Wilson.

Year round Programmes to suit everyone of all abilities. In event of bad weather we have access to indoor facilities, if available. The aim of Blue Tennis is to bring fun based Tennis and Activity Lessons to the local and wider community of Beckenham

Our Classes

We offer tennis lessons for: Tot’s, Children, Adult Groups and Individual Lessons

Our classes are coordinated by age and ability to ensure the best development for your child. They can learn new skills with similar ability players to improve them as tennis players. The coaching ratio is just 6- 8 children to each coach which means your child will get a high level of personal attention. £6.95 for 45 mins lesson. Private tennis lessons are £35 per hour.

Our Holiday Camps

Blue Tennis multi-sports camps provide lots of fun, exercise, a way to meet new friends and have excellent reviews.

We include Tennis, Basketball, Golf, Baseball, Hockey, Tin Can Ally, Jenga, Football, Cricket, Table tennis, Badminton, Magnetic Darts, Skittles and much, much more.

We carefully group children by age & ability and all equipment is provided. If raining blue tennis operate a wet weather programme, where the main building can be used (subject to availability).

We use sponge balls that enable the children to continue to practice, work on core skills and get plenty of exercise.

Fully qualified coaches with DBS, First Aid & safeguarding certification with ample assistants on hand. Come and have some fun with us, we look forward to seeing you.
